The Chemical and Process Engineering program with a specialization in Green Technologies is a Master of Science program that focuses on providing students with both theoretical and practical knowledge in modern chemical processes. The program aims to equip graduates with the necessary skills and knowledge to design and operate chemical processes that are sustainable, with minimal environmental impact.
Upon completion of the program, graduates will have an in-depth understanding of modern chemical equipment and processes, as well as the ability to mathematically model and analyze these processes. They will also be proficient in designing industrial equipment and process plants while considering the mathematical analysis methods of process economy. Graduates will also have a strong understanding of industrial process digitalization, including computer-aided design methods (CAD/CFD), and the ability to plan and conduct research and development work using digitalized control and measurement systems.
The program emphasizes the importance of sustainable development in the industry, particularly in renewable feedstocks and renewable energy-based processing. Graduates will have knowledge of the novel technologies of process intensification and the principles of sustainable development, including green fuels and electrification.
The Chemical and Process Engineering program with a specialization in Green Technologies prepares graduates to start independent work in creating, modernizing, optimizing, and implementing new processes in the chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, and cosmetic sectors. Graduates can also pursue managerial careers or join a PhD program to further their scientific development path. The program will start in February 2024, and it provides students with a comprehensive education that is relevant and practical for the evolving needs of the industry.
