Distributed Applications and Internet Services

The Master of Science in Informatics, with a specialization in Distributed Applications and Internet Services, is offered by the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics at Gdansk University of Technology. The program is available in two durations, 2 years (4 semesters) and 1.5 years (3 semesters), and is taught in English.

During the program, students will gain advanced knowledge in distributed systems, cloud computing, and internet services. The curriculum is designed to provide students with an understanding of the latest technologies and best practices in the field, including software engineering, data security, and information management.

The program has a total of 121 ECTS points for the 2-year duration (4 semesters) and 91 ECTS points for the 1.5-year duration (3 semesters). 

The program is offered twice a year, starting in the winter semester for the 2-year duration and in the summer semester for the 1.5-year duration. Graduates of the program are prepared for careers in software engineering, cloud computing, web development, and other related fields. They can also pursue further studies in the field and apply for a Ph.D. program.
