The Chair of European Studies at the University of Wroclaw offers a highly-regarded Master's programme in European Studies with a new specialization in EU Politics. This interdisciplinary programme is designed to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to pursue a successful career in diplomacy, international institutions, or corporations. The programme is taught entirely in English by expert lecturers and is structured to run for two years, comprising of four semesters. During this time, students will gain an in-depth understanding of the workings of the European Union and its institutions, policies, and economics, with a specific focus on EU geopolitics, management, and information society. The course includes seminars, workshops, and discussion sessions, where students will learn to analyse issues related to EU external relations, freedom, security, and justice, EU governance, and more.
The programme is available for graduates holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any area, including Political Sciences, European Studies, International Relations, Law, Economics, Administration, Humanities, Languages, or other related studies. Graduates of the European Studies programme are equipped with specialist knowledge that prepares them to work as professionals at institutions of local and national government, national and international cultural and social agencies, EU institutions, and other international organizations. The European Studies program also prepares graduates for work in public and private enterprises in Poland and throughout the European States. To be admitted into the programme, students are required to provide their Bachelor or Master degree certificate, transcript of grades/supplement from bachelor or master studies, certificate confirming English language proficiency on B2 level, passport photocopy, and digital passport size photo. Upon successful completion of the programme and the writing of a Master's thesis, graduates will be awarded a Master's degree and will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to pursue a successful career in the field of EU Politics.
