The Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Warsaw offers a comprehensive first cycle programme in Finance, International Investment, and Accounting. This full-time academic programme, taught entirely in English, is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of economics, financial engineering, and international financial markets. The programme aims to equip students with professional knowledge about the mechanisms of financial markets and the instruments used in international financial management.
The programme has a strong focus on mathematical and analytical skills that are relevant to modern financial engineering. Graduates of the programme will be well-prepared to manage the complex financial instruments of multinational corporations, including foreign exchange risk management techniques, optimization, corporate finance, and international relations. They will also gain expertise in financial markets, international financial management, monetary policy, banking, insurance, and accounting.
Throughout the programme, students will develop skills that enable them to prepare state-of-the-art analyses of the market value of enterprises and financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. While the studies are payable, students with the best performance during their studies are eligible to apply for tuition waivers up to 70%.
