The Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Wroclaw offers a comprehensive Master's program in Journalism and Social Communication, which aims to prepare students for successful careers in various areas of professional public communication. This interdisciplinary program provides students with the opportunity to acquire skills and competencies necessary to become successful journalists, PR specialists, editors, radio and TV presenters, image communication specialists, or to work in advertising and PR agencies.
The curriculum is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and practical skills in all areas of media, including print media, radio, television, and the internet. The program includes a range of workshops and classes, which provide students with the skills and competencies they need to work as gatekeepers, journalists, and producers. Additionally, the program also covers intercultural communication, public relations, branding, corporate identity, and image communication.
The program is suitable for students who have completed their Bachelor's degree in journalism, communication, or related fields, and who are interested in developing their skills and knowledge in these areas. The Faculty of Social Sciences is committed to providing students with access to the latest technologies, research methods, and techniques in journalism and social communication. To apply to the program, interested students are required to provide their Bachelor or Master degree certificate, transcript of grades/supplement from bachelor or master studies, certificate confirming English language knowledge on B2 level, passport photocopy, digital passport size photo, CV and cover letter.
