The Master of Arts in Journalism and Social Communication is a two-year full-time program that offers practical skills in communication for different fields of professional activities, including journalism, public relations, and marketing communication. The program focuses on new media and processes of social communication, as well as general and professional knowledge in mass communication, business, political, international, and intercultural communication, and new communication technologies. The program uses innovative teaching methods, practical training in well-equipped labs, and a 2-week summer school program to develop soft skills and teamwork abilities. The selected study areas include critical analysis of public communications, theory of mass communication, media systems in Central Europe, and innovative project design and management, among others.
Work opportunities
Graduation from our studies will allow you to start a career as a journalist, TV and radio specialist, public relations, promotion and advertising departments and as a spokesperson. Practical knowledge will allow you to open your own business in media or promotion and advertising services. Many of our graduates find work in local and national media.
