The B.Sc. in Chemical Technology is a 3.5-year study program offered by the Faculty of Chemical Technology, which prepares students to become the link between chemists and engineers in industrial processes. The course provides a unique combination of theoretical knowledge with laboratory and technological practices, enabling students to learn the principles of conducting technological processes and implementing them in the industry.
The Chemical Technology study program offers numerous projects that help develop the student's ability to work as part of a team. The specialized English language skill set taught as part of the course enables efficient communication with technologists from different branches of the industry. Upon completing the course, students obtain an Engineering degree that opens up a broad range of career opportunities in industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, petrochemicals, food, electrochemistry, processing of plastics, synthesis of organic and inorganic compounds.
The Chemical Technology program also offers students the opportunity to participate in an international apprenticeship as part of the Erasmus+ program and the activity of the IAESTE association. Students can also apply for second-cycle studies to obtain a Master of Science Engineer degree in majors such as Organic Technology, Polymer Technology, Technical Electrochemistry, Composites and Nanomaterials, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocesses and Biomaterials Engineering, Ecotechnology, or Monitoring, which further enhances their competitiveness on the labor market.
