The Mechanical Engineering programme delivered in English is a 1.5-year (3-semester) course of study that focuses on the construction and operation of marine energy systems. Upon completion, graduates are awarded the degree of magister inżynier, which corresponds to a Master of Engineering degree.
This programme provides graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to perform various roles in the marine vessel engineering department, repair shipyards, and maintenance departments of various enterprises, such as electrical power and heating plants, paper factories, steelworks, ports, sewage treatment plants, and pump stations. Additionally, graduates can pursue employment in electrical power generation, transfer, and distribution facilities, as well as in renewable energy, on-shore and off-shore wind farm operation enterprises, electrical device production plants, power plants, manufacturers of supporting constructions, fixture, insulation devices, and systems.
