The Faculty of Production Engineering offers a comprehensive two-year Master's programme in Management and Production Engineering, with a specialization in Global Production Engineering and Management. The programme is designed to meet the increasing demand for professionals with integrated knowledge of production engineering and management in multinational enterprises and internationally operating SMEs. The curriculum covers a wide range of subjects, including organisation and management, economy, legal and social science, and technical sciences. Students also acquire practical skills in designing business processes using state-of-the-art software, programming, and algoritmisation of organisational issues in enterprises, and development of database applications for management support.
The programme's modules are carefully selected to provide students with a deep understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the field of production engineering and management. For example, students will study quality engineering and management, ICT and CAx in production, design and analysis of manufacturing systems, international industrial marketing, modelling of production systems and supply chains, maintenance management, international trade, business and economics, industrial technologies, project and innovation management, and global operations strategy and logistics & SCM.
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will have the necessary knowledge and skills to pursue careers as production and logistics managers, process engineers in engineering or maintenance departments, or top-level staff (including owners) of small and medium-sized industrial enterprises. They will be able to design, analyse, and manage complex manufacturing systems, work for consulting companies implementing ERP, CRM, BI systems, and contribute as process engineers in manufacturing companies.
