The Faculty of Production Engineering offers a comprehensive program in Management and Production Engineering with a specialization in Global Production Engineering and Management. This two-year program is designed to meet the growing demand for professionals with integrated knowledge of production engineering and management, with the added ability to operate in a global business environment. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including organization and management, economy, legal and social science, and technical sciences. Students also gain practical skills in the design of business processes using state-of-the-art software, programming and algorithmization of organizational issues, and the development of database applications for management support.
The program's aim is to equip students with advanced knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in global industrial companies as production and logistics managers, process engineers, or maintenance managers. Graduates of the program can also pursue careers as top-level staff or owners of small and medium industrial enterprises. The curriculum is designed to provide students with an understanding of complex manufacturing systems and the ability to design, analyze, and manage them effectively. Students also learn about international industrial marketing, international trade, business and economics, and global operations strategy and logistics.
The faculty offers a wide range of modules that provide students with a comprehensive education in global production engineering and management. For example, the Quality Engineering and Management module teaches students about the principles and practices of quality control in manufacturing systems, while the International Industrial Marketing module provides an understanding of the international marketing environment and the impact of cultural differences on marketing strategies. The Modelling of Production Systems and Supply Chains module teaches students how to model and optimize complex manufacturing systems and supply chains, while the Techniques of Industrial Engineering module provides students with an understanding of the techniques used in industrial engineering, including work measurement, work design, and production planning.
Upon completing the program, graduates will have a deep understanding of the technical and business aspects of global production engineering and management, as well as the ability to apply this knowledge in practical settings.
