The Molecular Biotechnology programme is a second-cycle full-time programme that lasts for 2 years (4 semesters) and is conducted entirely in English. The programme is designed for foreign students and provides a comprehensive education in the molecular basis of modern biotechnology with a focus on practical applications in improving human life and health, industry, and environmental sciences.
The compulsory courses cover a broad range of topics including molecular biotechnology, genetic engineering, biochemistry, cell biology, medical biotechnology, plant biotechnology, and the application of biotechnology in environmental protection and bioinformatics. In addition to these compulsory courses, students also attend courses on practical and philosophical problems of science, as well as on the protection of industrial property and copyright laws. Elective courses are also available throughout the programme, allowing students to tailor their studies to their own academic interests.
