This Master's degree programme in Sociology with a specialization in Social Media Management & Digital Commerce at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland, offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in the fields of marketing, communications, web, and mobile technology. The programme is designed to provide students with the most current and proven practices in social media and digital marketing, as well as exceptional internship opportunities and industry insight.
The curriculum comprises 14 courses, 11 of which are taught in a laboratory simulated business environment by internationally active practitioners and specialists in their respective fields. The programme is taught entirely in English and is the only one of its kind in Poland and throughout Central & Eastern Europe.
Students will learn how to create and manage entire social networks, carry out all digital marketing strategy steps, design, develop, implement and measure campaigns and content communications. Graduates will be well-equipped to work in a variety of roles such as digital marketer, content manager, social media analyst, communications coordinator, public relations manager, data strategist, YouTube channel editor, vlogger, social video producer, and more.
The programme is supervised by Lisa Marie Bochneak, MBA, a leading expert in social media marketing who has extensive experience in creating hundreds of advertisements for print, internet, and TV, as well as writing for travel, politics, and academia. Lisa has been teaching marketing and international business courses for 17 years in various MBA, Masters’, Bachelors’ and Executive programmes in Chicago, Boston, Warsaw, and Prague, and is a regular guest lecturer & instructor at Harvard’s Extension School.
Graduates of this programme will acquire skills in modern marketing techniques, social media strategy preparation and implementation, campaign creation, marketing research, company image analysis, branding, communication with stakeholders, creative thinking, and effective communication with others. They will be well-prepared for careers in advertising agencies, public relations agencies, internet portals, marketing and promotion departments in international corporations, national and international companies from various industries, non-governmental organizations, and self-employment.
