Management and Finance

The Faculty of Management at the University of Łódź offers a Bachelor's degree program in Management and Finance (M&F), which aims to prepare professionals for performing management, finance, and accounting tasks in international companies.

Completing the M&F program will equip you with a solid understanding of finance and accounting and the managerial skills required to analyze a company's financial situation and economic trends, enabling you to make effective business decisions. Moreover, studying M&F will help you develop critical soft skills such as communication, creativity, a critical approach to problem-solving, and a strong work ethic. As graduates, you will be well-suited to fulfill the role of a business partner in a company, actively seeking and creating its value.

In the first year of the program, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of an organization's functioning in the market. The following years of study will provide you with a deep understanding of business issues, emphasizing finance, financial and managerial accounting, and performance measurement, while considering sustainable development problems. During the third year of study, you will undertake mandatory internships in a company, and you will have the opportunity to participate in numerous elective courses, often taught by international academic staff.

M&F courses are taught by highly qualified academics with significant academic and professional experience. In addition, we invite specialists from the business practice, such as professionals from Big 4 companies, and lecturers from foreign universities, such as Germany.

The M&F program is accredited by The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), and students can earn a certificate in Business Accounting after meeting specific requirements.
